In July 2026, 3,334,827 passengers passed through Zurich Airport, corresponding to an increase of 2.4% compared to last year.
In July, the number of local passengers was 2,420,356. Transfer passengers amounted to 27.3%, equal to 909,362 passengers.
Year on year, air traffic movements increased by 4.3% to 26,356 take-offs and landings. The average number of passengers per movement decreased to 141.4 (-2.5% vs. previous year). The average seat load factor was 82.9% (-1.4 percentage points vs. previous year).
A total of 35,313 tons of freight were transported at Zurich Airport during the month of July. This represents a decrease of 5.8% in freight volume compared to last year.
